Look, I'm no expert on Hawaii (where we're vacationing), but right now, I'm feeling pretty savvy.
A woman (very clearly from the US) approached Dyami at the taxi stand in front of the airport as we were leaving the terminal.
"What's the word for shuttle?" she asked.
He blinked a few times, and said, "Excuse me?"
What he wished he had said, later:
"Honey, this is America. The word is 'shuttle.'"
OR:
"It's 'Aloha'"..

See, I would have gone for "Mele Kalikimaka". And I would have stuck around to see her use it.
