handiwork

Okay. I'm very pleased with myself.
In keeping with my back-to-nature, living-in-suburbia-but-really-possessing-the-spirit-of-Laura- Ingalls-Wilder, handmade-on-the-cheap aesthetic, I've started making clothing.
Okay. A skirt. For Lucy. But see, it's So Cute. And it has a pocket for Lucy's buttons!

Thanks to Hack Mommy for skirt instructions, printed on a little slip of lined paper.

Cute dress. Cute kid (I believe this is the first time I've seen a picture, other than the candlelit one at the top of your log).

I hope ours will be as adorable, he said in a rather indirect manner.

Very cute, very impressive. I'm starting to feel a bit slacker-esque. Does it count if you put a skirt together with iron adhesive?

Wow, Todd. Congratulations! And Diana, don't feel like a slacker. I only have one kid, remember? And you have the small farm going in your backyard?
